What are your shipping methods? TOP
All orders are shipped U.S Postal Service Priority Mail for a flat fee of $5.95, unless otherwise specified by customer. If you need overnight service Monday through Friday please contact me using the Contact Me form or by E-mail, by 10 PM CT to check if overnight service will be available prior to placing order. Depending on destination, please allow 2-4 business days (Monday-Saturday US Postal Service Days ) for shipping on in stock merchandise.
How soon will my order be ready for shipment? TOP
In stock orders will be shipped the next business day if the order is received by 10:00 P.M. Central Time. If a special or custom order, the ship time is listed on the item description to give you an idea of when the item(s) will be ready for shipment. You will receive notification by email, once your order has shipped. If however your item is backordered or out of stock, you will be notified within 24 hours and issued a refund. If ordering for a Holiday item please keep in mind shipping timeframes that will be given at the top of the FAQS page.
Do you ship internationally? TOP
Shipping charges for International Orders vary greatly. Please use the Contact Me form or E-mail at info@ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com with the items that you are interested in buying including sizes and quantities each, your address, and the destination country. We will email back information on ordering, including shipping and handling charges. We will be happy to answer any questions that you have, so please let us know how we can help you. Delivery times vary depending on destination. Average delivery time is 2-3 weeks. We can NOT guarantee international shipments. Any delays in time, damages or lost packages will have to be handled directly with USPS by the customer. You may be charged customs/import fees from the destination country prior to delivery. These charges are from the customs department of the country and are not the responsiblity of ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com
Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska? TOP
At this time we are only shipping to the U.S. 48 Contiguous States with order placed online, but if you would like to place an order please use the Contact Me form or E-Mail at info@ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com with the items that you are interested in buying, sizes, quantities, and your address. We will email back information on ordering, including shipping and handling charges. At that time, your order can be placed online, with the appropriate shipping/handling charges. We will be happy to answer any questions that you have, so please let us know how we can help you. Delivery times vary depending on destination.
Will I be notified? TOP
After your initial online order, we will send you a confirmation email. It will include a list of the products you ordered, the address that the shipment will be sent to, and the total amount that will be charged to your credit card. You will also receive an order number that can be referenced, in case you have any questions, concerns.
You will receive a second email once your order has been shipped. This will list the status of all items ordered, date of processing, shipping method. The email will also indicate out-of-stock items.
Exchanges and Returns Policy? TOP
ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com strives to provide our customers with the finest quality merchandise and an extraordinary shopping experience.
Contacting Us About A Return/Exchange:
If you would like to return/exchange your item, you may return it, exchange it, or receive store credit if shipped back to ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com within 14 days from the date received. To obtain a return or exchange, you must use the Contact Me form or Email your request to info@ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com to obtain a return authorization number. Without the return authorization number a return will not be processed. When contacting me with returns/exchanges, please provide your order number.
Returned/exchanged items must be unused in their original condition (****Please See Note Below in Red), and with their tags in place and original packaging if any. It is strongly recommended that your return/exhange shipment be sent via a trackable service and insurance applied to the package.
With returns/exchanges, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. Exchanges will only be done for the exact same item unless the size requested is not available, you would then choose any other item for exchange with the difference paid if any, along with new shipping charges.
After Receiving Your Return/Exchange:
Upon receipt of your approved return, ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com will either issue a refund for the purchase price not including shipping, store credit, or ship the exchanged item to you. Since we are one of the lowest cost on the internet for most of the same items elsewhere combined with our low shipping costs we require the following when returning an item to keep providing savings to our customers:
If a return is made a 6% re-stocking fee will be substracted from your credit. The 6% does not apply if an exchange is made.
Items Not Acceptable For Returns/Exchanges:
Clothing must not have been worn. Swimwear, hair accessories, hosiery including tights and socks will not be accepted for return due to hygenic concerns. Personalized items, and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are noted in the description as "Personalized and/or Special Order and subject to return policy".
Our manufacturers take great pride in their items, and we at ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com inspect every piece before shipping to ensure quality and possible damages. Unfortunately, items are occasionally damaged during transit. (****Please See Note Below in Red)

Damages:
Since every item is inspected before shipment for quality assurance, refunds/exchanges due to damages will only be made if damaged in transit and the box itself is damaged. ****If you receive the box damaged where you believe the contents inside are also damaged, please do not open the box****Please contact us at info@ButterfliesAndTadpoles.com for further instructions for this type of return.
Items returned must be in the same condition as when they were previously shipped, otherwise a return will not be processed.
May I pay by check or money order? TOP
Yes, once we clear your check or money order, a shipment notification will be sent by email. Checks or money orders can be made out to:
